Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Management in Taylor PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will help manage site entry verify credentials monitor access points and support a secure environment for employees visitors and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate clearly and help deter security-related incidents through a visible professional presence. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access-control policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying visitor employee contractor and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor vehicle and delivery-entry records; issue and collect access credentials as directed by site policy.
• Respond to access-control incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points shipping and receiving areas parking areas and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
