Project Manager

A well-established commercial construction contractor is seeking a Commercial Drywall & Acoustical Estimator / Project Consultant in Greenville, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with strong estimating expertise and established relationships within the Upstate market. The role combines estimating, business development, and client relationship management, with significant earning potential for top performers. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and primarily on-site. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate estimates and bid proposals for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and specialty ceiling systems. Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents while performing detailed quantity takeoffs. Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing. Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and owners throughout the Upstate market. Pursue negotiated and hard-bid opportunities to secure profitable work. Attend client meetings, site visits, and pre-bid conferences. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project scopes. Support project teams through project handoff, change order pricing, and preconstruction activities. Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial drywall and acoustical ceiling estimating experience. Established relationships with contractors and construction professionals in the Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson markets. Strong understanding of commercial drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling systems. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Proficiency with OST (On-Screen Takeoff), QuickBid, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication, organizational, sales, and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license and ability to attend local project sites. Experience with healthcare, education, industrial, or manufacturing projects is preferred.
