Cost Analyst IV

Our client, a leader in power generation and engineering services, is seeking a Cost Analyst IV to join their team. As a Cost Analyst IV, you will be part of the Power Plant Operations Department supporting project management and financial analysis teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to process improvements, which will align successfully in the organization.

Develop, evaluate, and present project costs for Aero gas turbine power generation plants during proposal and project execution phases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including proposal, finance, and project management to optimize project costs.

Create comprehensive cost summaries and reports for leadership review and decision-making.

Partner with project managers to monitor budgets, actuals, and forecasted costs, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks, leading continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction, or a relevant technical discipline from an accredited university or college.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, cost estimating, or related roles within the power generation or engineering sectors.

Strong technical knowledge of Aero gas turbine power plant systems and design costing.

Excellent analytical skills with a passion for process improvement and efficiency.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
