Beacon Hill's client, a national class action and complex litigation law firm, is seeking a temp or temp to hire Litigation Associate Attorney in their Berkeley, CA office. Base pay range $55.00/hr - $87.00/hr Role Summary Title: Litigation Associate Attorney Location: Berkeley, CA 94710 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; awaiting confirmation of specific days) Practice Area: Class Action / Complex Litigation (plaintiff-side) Compensation: Temp - $55-$87/hr DOE / Perm - $115,000 - $180,000 annually DOE Benefits if converted: Medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401K, LTD/STD, and more Core Responsibilities Investigate and vet potential new cases Review, summarize, and analyze evidence and documents Conduct legal research on facts and regulations for new cases Handle all phases of civil discovery (drafting, meet-and-confers, depositions) Draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal filings Prepare for hearings, trials, and depositions Work with and prepare expert witnesses Qualifications Strong academic and employment credentials (federal clerkship experience a plus) 2+ years of litigation experience (plaintiff-side or complex litigation preferred) Excellent drafting, writing, and oral advocacy skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Able to manage high-volume, fast-paced litigation work Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in CA Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.
