We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Director to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our Nutrition and Dietary Services Department. Endless career growth potential with strong leadership support Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and employer-sponsored life insurance Tuition reimbursement available for career development in healthcare and nutrition Supportive, team-oriented long‑term care environment Leadership team committed to your professional development Your Role: Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Nutrition and Dietary Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local regulations Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and dietary guidelines Develop and implement menus that meet residents’ nutritional needs, preferences, and physician‑ordered diets Supervise dietary staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations Monitor food preparation, portion control, and meal presentation Maintain department budgets, food inventory, and cost controls Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and clinical teams to meet residents’ specialized dietary needs Promote resident satisfaction and quality dining experiences Who We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Dietary Director, Dietary Manager, or similar leadership role in long‑term care preferred but not required Strong knowledge of healthcare dietary regulations and food safety standards Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills Dependable, team‑oriented, and committed to quality resident care Passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and nutritious dining environment At Rock Creek Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center , we don’t just offer a job — we offer a leadership opportunity with room for growth.
