Speech-Language Pathologist – Speech-Language Pathology
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the relevant authority
- Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services for patients with various disabilities.
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans.
- Set realistic treatment goals and recommend adjustments based on patient progress.
- Document assessment and treatment outcomes in patient records.
- Instruct patients, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation occurs every 2 weeks.
- COVID & flu exemptions may be accepted with a declination form.
- Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start.
