Duration: Contract (Backfill) About the Role We're seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise data management initiatives focused on data quality, lineage, and business alignment . In this role, you will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is accurate, well-understood, and fit for decision-making . This position emphasizes analyzing, validating, and improving data across systems rather than building infrastructure. What You'll Do

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document data requirements
- Analyze complex datasets from multiple systems to identify trends, issues, and opportunities
- Perform data profiling and data quality assessments across cross-functional sources
- Define and document data mappings and end-to-end data lineage
- Capture and maintain business and technical metadata
- Develop and execute data quality rules , and perform root cause analysis of data issues
- Provide recommendations to improve data reliability and usability
- Communicate project status, risks, and insights clearly to stakeholders
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to support data governance and compliance efforts
- 7+ years of experience in data analysis, data integration, analytics, or modeling
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with:
- SQL
- Data profiling and data quality assessment
- Data mapping and lineage documentation
- Experience working with one or more of:
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) / BigQuery (required)
- Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata
- Proven ability to analyze and validate data across complex systems
- Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
- Experience supporting data migration initiatives (e.g., Teradata to GCP)
- Knowledge of customer survey or lending datasets
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into business context
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
