Overview
Registered Nurse, Endoscopy – Rochester, New York – start 07/06/2026 for a travel temporary assignment anticipated to run 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,485 to $2,625, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 8 hours, and the assignment is in an inpatient endoscopy/GI care setting. Schedule details from the client indicate a Monday–Friday day pattern (8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.) with on-call requirements for overnights and weekends; there is an option for either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts based on unit needs.

Responsibilities
- Prepare endoscopy suite, instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures; ensure sterility and readiness for use
- Provide direct assistance to physicians during endoscopic procedures; monitor patient status throughout the procedure
- Observe and document patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures; respond to any clinical changes
- Sedate patients per protocol and monitor responses; manage sedation-related safety throughout the procedure
- Recover patients from sedation or anesthesia; monitor recovery and discharge status as appropriate
- Administer prescribed medications, including IV drips, and manage IV access
- Complete all required documentation, including patient notes and discharge instructions; accurately record procedure details

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS (American Heart Association) required; ACLS (American Heart Association) required
- Minimum 2 years of endoscopy procedure experience
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification competency
- Conscious sedation experience and expert IV insertion skills
- Experience recovering patients from general anesthesia and performing intake for GI procedures
