Occupational Therapist for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program

Job Responsibilities Managing medical records and requesting records from outside agencies Completing and tracking individual rehabilitation plans obtaining authorizations for services Review of client services to meet COMAR and billable standards supervising PRP counselors Checking for note corrections and releasing notes Scheduling new referrals and completing intake assessments Keeping regular contact with PRP counselors Mediating client complaints Aiding in the rehabilitation of our clients Attending weekly management staff meetings Train rehabilitation counselors Minimum Requirements Thorough understanding of clinical documentation Working understanding of COMAR regulations for outpatient mental health and clinical documentation Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently. Full understanding of ethics in clinical care and crisis intervention. Job Type: part time (20 hrs shift) OR full time (40 hrs shift) Qualifications Required education: Master's Required experience: Must be a licensed social worker, counselor, psychologist, or a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner Required license or certification: Occupational Therapist #J-18808-Ljbffr
