Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a 21-bed Hematology and Oncology unit, supporting diagnosis and treatment of hematological and oncological conditions
• Administer and monitor inpatient chemotherapy , maintaining a 1:4 staffing ratio with active chemo infusing
• Deliver palliative care, inpatient hospice, and end-of-life care with compassion and clinical expertise
• Care for specialized medical patients including those with tracheostomies, focusing on symptom management and supportive care for progressive diagnoses
• Float as needed to other post-surgical and medical-surgical inpatient floors
• Document and chart accurately using the Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or Multistate (Compact) RN license — no encumbrances or hits allowed, no exceptions
• AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience
• ADN or BSN degree in Nursing
• No first-time travelers; prior travel nursing experience required
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the standard rate (no radius rule)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in oncology and/or hematology nursing strongly preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Familiarity with Epic EMR; test-out option available
