## Job Description# Portfolio AnalystApply**Job#: 3053081****Job Description:**Portfolio Analyst**Location:** Remote, TexasPosition OverviewA Portfolio Analyst is sought to support the underwriting, servicing, and ongoing management of a commercial real estate loan portfolio. This individual will play a key role throughout the loan lifecycle, from underwriting and loan sizing to post-close portfolio management and borrower communication. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proficient in Excel, and comfortable working directly with borrowers while leveraging technology and AI tools to enhance efficiency.Key Responsibilities* Underwrite and service commercial real estate loans.* Analyze financial information and assist in determining appropriate loan sizing.* Communicate directly with borrowers regarding loan requests, documentation, and portfolio updates.* Manage incoming loan-related correspondence and documentation.* Prepare and maintain asset summaries, quarterly portfolio reports, and loan balance updates.* Monitor existing loans and support ongoing portfolio management activities after closing.* Maintain accurate records and reporting using primarily Excel-based systems.* Utilize AI-powered tools and technology to improve workflow efficiency and portfolio analysis.* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support portfolio performance and client service objectives.Required Qualifications* Experience in commercial real estate lending, underwriting, portfolio management, credit analysis, or a related field.* Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and report on financial data.* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Comfortable interacting directly with borrowers and building professional relationships.* Open to learning and utilizing AI tools and emerging technologies.* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field of study from an accredited university.Preferred Qualifications* Commercial real estate lending or loan servicing experience.* Experience preparing loan, asset, or portfolio-level reporting.* Knowledge of commercial loan administration and portfolio management processes.* Experience communicating with borrowers throughout the loan lifecycle.* Demonstrated use of large language models and agentic AI tools to perform substantive analytical work.What Will Set Candidates Apart* Commercial real estate background, particularly in underwriting and servicing loans.* Experience managing loan portfolios and preparing asset performance summaries.* Confidence in picking up the phone and proactively communicating with borrowers.* Experience leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency.Important Notes* Candidates with a **commercial real estate lending background** are strongly preferred.* Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to **residential mortgage lending** are not a fit for this role.* The ability to manage borrower relationships and communicate effectively is critical to success in this position. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
