Dental Hygienist

Role Overview A Dental Hygienist is responsible for providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health through education and preventive services, and collaborating with the dental team. Key Responsibilities Perform dental hygiene procedures, patient screenings, and medical history documentation. Build rapport and foster trust with patients, ensuring a positive experience. Maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and patient education. Support clinical needs, including using digital x-rays, scanners, and electronic medical records. Participate in continuing education and mentorship programs to enhance skills. Adhere to safety protocols, including TB testing and physical requirements such as lifting and prolonged sitting or standing. Qualifications & Skills Current Indiana dental hygiene license and relevant degrees. Excellent knowledge of dental procedures and patient care. CPR certification and 2-3 years clinical experience preferred. Experience with dental technology and a desire for ongoing professional growth. Professional, adaptable, and collaborative demeanor.
