What You'll Do as an Accounting Associate

• Process accounts payable by scanning, reviewing, coding, and posting vendor receipts and invoices into QuickBooks with accuracy.
• Review customer invoices to ensure billing is complete, accurate, and ready for timely processing.
• Fulfill sales orders by processing transactions within the system and pulling inventory as needed to support efficient order completion.
• Maintain organized accounts payable records and documentation that support accurate financial reporting and month-end close activities.
• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve billing, order, and invoice discrepancies while keeping projects moving forward.
• Support account reconciliations, collections documentation, and other accounts receivable activities as needed.
• Assist our finance team with additional accounting and administrative responsibilities that contribute to the continued growth of ProFence.

• Detail-Oriented: You take pride in producing accurate work, carefully reviewing invoices, financial records, and transactions to catch discrepancies before they become problems.
• Organized & Process-Driven: You manage multiple priorities while consistently following established procedures to ensure financial transactions and documentation are accurate, complete, and well organized.
• Dependable & Self-Motivated: You take initiative to prioritize your work, solve issues proactively, meet deadlines consistently, and can be trusted with confidential financial information while working with minimal supervision.
• Experienced & Tech-Savvy: You have at least two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support experience with a solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable. You're comfortable learning and using accounting software, QuickBooks, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and other business applications; experience with Fishbowl or Salesforce is a plus.
• Growth-Minded: You value teamwork, embrace continuous learning, and enjoy contributing your ideas in a faith-based company that empowers people, encourages autonomy, and is committed to doing the right thing.

• Compensation: $60,000-$70,000/year, DOE

REQUIREMENTS
