Learn more at and Facility Maintenance Technician Summary The Facilities Maintenance Tech is responsible for building and ground repairs and minor equipment installation and repairs. Primary location will be in Anoka, MN, however some travel between our Anoka and Coon Rapids facilities will be required. Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Responsibilities Facility Maintenance Technician Duties & Responsibilities Plan and perform work relating to repair of buildings and grounds Recommend improvements and changes for increased quality or efficiency Perform preventative maintenance per schedule Back up the janitor role Work independently on projects of moderate complexity Enters production information into the ERP system on a timely basis Accurately records and reports hours worked Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly Participate in required company meetings Maintain an organized work area (5S) Participate in the Operational Excellence Program Complete all other work duties as assigned Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Qualifications Facility Maintenance Technician Requirements 1 year of experience in a related field Self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment with minimal supervision Intermittent exposure to safe levels of cleaning solutions, solvents, and solder (lead) fumes Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents Mechanical Aptitude Dexterity and hand and eye coordination Attention to detail Strong problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks Ability to collaborate and assist team members, provide input to the area lead, and attend and participate in meetings Ability to cross train in other areas of production when required Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Ability to prioritize and multitask rms Company Benefits As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels. Pay Range USD $19.86 - USD $27.84 /Hr. Pay Range Details This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market‑based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range .
