Fulfillment Operations Manager, 3rd Shift

Job Description Cart.com is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a multi‑client operation in our Groveport, OH third‑party logistics building. The role reports to the Site Director of Operations and oversees supervisors in a 2.2‑million‑sq‑ft facility. The manager will develop, support, and maintain resources and processes necessary to efficiently manage and improve distribution center operations, including picking, packing, shipping, inbound receiving, and consolidation. The position requires motivating a performance‑driven team and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Maintain records on working hours and meet financial projections of the team. Consistently review operations and recommend and implement improvements. Give directions for shift operational flow and flex resources to achieve requirements at lowest cost. Supervise staff to maintain proper staffing levels per budget, conduct interviewing, training, discipline, and ensure daily staffing agreements. Drive efficiency by continuously improving current processes and practices. Develop, support, and maintain resources and processes for DC operations. Create and maintain departmental spreadsheets of performance, cost per piece and accuracy. Promote a safe working environment and report all incidents and injuries. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications A leader with ability to influence and motivate a team. High‑level communicator, both orally and written. Capable of multi‑tasking and adapting to a changing environment. Problem solver and team oriented with strong interpersonal skills. 5+ years of warehouse operations experience in replenishment, receiving, outbound, inventory, special projects or returns. 3+ years of supervisory or lead experience with demonstrated ability to motivate, train and lead team to exceptional performance. Systems experience with WMS, OMS, Excel and other office applications. High school diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Experience using data to support decisions and drive success. Prior 3PL operations experience. Prior B2B wholesale experience. Physical Work Environment Sunday to Thursday work schedule. 3rd shift: 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM daily. Overtime typically on Friday night shift. Ability to withstand moderate physical activity (standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching). Ability to lift and carry up to 25–30 lbs on occasion. Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods. Ability to work overtime including extended schedules during peak seasons.
