Shift: Day/PMs/Nights, weekend/call/Holidays Compensation: Commensurate with experience. Hours Per Week: 0-40 Weekends: Some Per Diem Non-Benefit Eligible Overview The Radiologic Technologist performs medical imaging procedures for diagnosis or treating medical problems in a clinical setting, focusing on routine radiography. The Radiologic Technologist uses knowledge of patient handling, physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiology to assess patients, develop optimal radiologic techniques or plans and evaluate radiographic images. The Radiologic Technologist may perform minor clinic clerical duties. The Radiologic Technologist reports to the Medical Imaging Manager and has an indirect reporting relationship to the Clinic Administrator. As assigned, this position will float to any of our 7 clinic locations to provide coverage during staff absences and position vacancies. Responsibilities Perform radiologic imaging procedures for diagnosis or treatment in a clinical setting (routine radiography). Assess patients and determine optimal radiologic techniques; develop plans and evaluate radiographic images. Perform minor clinic clerical duties as assigned. Coordinate with the Medical Imaging Manager and Clinic Administrator as needed. Float to multiple clinic locations as required to cover staff absences and vacancies. Qualifications Graduate from an approved school of Radiologic Technology Program 0-2 years’ experience in a hospital or clinic American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Licensed by the State of Wisconsin Preferred Qualifications Previous Radiologic Technologist experience. Knowledge of Epic Ambulatory EMR, RIS and PACS
