Internal Medicine Position

Our organization is excited to present a fantastic full-time opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to become a part of our Clinton Family Practice team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree; we welcome applications from U.S., U.K., and Canadian trained physicians.
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine (U.S., U.K., or Canadian Board).
• Ability to secure and maintain an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.
• Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications relevant to your practice.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; J-1 and H1-B candidates are encouraged to apply.

Work Environment

The North Health Plaza in Clinton is a multispecialty facility designed to provide the right care at the right time. In addition to primary care, we offer services in cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, and pediatrics, along with lab and radiology services. Our primary care team consists of four physicians, five advanced practice providers, and a skilled clinical and non-clinical staff, ensuring a busy practice with immediate patient volume.

Facility Overview

Located on the bluffs of the Mississippi River, our community health system serves Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois, with approximately 50,000 patient admissions annually. We offer a wide range of services to meet the healthcare needs of our bi-state residents, operating two main campuses with 249 licensed beds.

In addition to traditional hospital services, we provide both inpatient and outpatient care for acute and chronic conditions. Our advanced services include renal dialysis and oncology, supported by state-of-the-art technology such as MRI, CT, and PET scan services. We are a level IV trauma center with a level II nursery, equipped with five operating rooms and two catheterization labs, with tertiary care available at a nearby university.
