Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher skilled in providing mild intervention to help students thrive academically and socially in an inclusive setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification (licensure appropriate to Indiana requirements)
• Classroom experience supporting students with mild interventions, preferably within upper elementary or intermediate grades
• Strong knowledge of writing IEPs and proven ability to serve as Teacher of Record
• Detail-oriented with solid progress monitoring and documentation abilities
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with general educators, families, and related service providers

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver push-in and pull-out services tailored to individual IEP goals for students in grades 5-6
• Manage the full scope of Teacher of Record duties, including IEP writing, data collection, progress monitoring, and compliance
• Foster inclusive learning environments and adapt instruction based on student needs
• Work closely with the school team to provide consultative support and coaching to general education staff
• Maintain accurate and timely student records in accordance with district and federal guidelines
