Housekeeping InspectorHousekeeping Inspector responsibilities include all aspects of cleaning guest rooms such as changing towels, making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Their responsibilities also include assigning rooms, inspecting rooms in the supervisors absence. You will also address guests’ queries and make sure our rooms are fully-stocked, clean and inviting at all times. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us.Essential FunctionsAssign housekeeping boards in morningInspect rooms for cleanliness, any maintenance issues, and adherence to brand standardsAct as Executive Housekeeper in their absenceKeep hotel stocked with supplies and keep a list of inventories on handEnsure employees have uniforms, including nametags, and wear them dailyMaintain labor standards given by the GMChange bed linen and make bedsRemove/Restock used towelsVacuum carpets plus sweep and mop floorsAssist with Laundry duties as neededDust furniture and fixturesReplenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)Restock beverages and beverage suppliesClean public areas, like corridors and common areas as neededReport any technical issues and maintenance needs in a timely mannerAddress guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services)Help guests retrieve lost items by inquiring with front desk for them and turn in all items with any possible received value to managementEnsure all assigned rooms are clean and fully restocked by the end of the shiftFollow hotel security guidelinesEducation, Experience, Other RequirementsRequiredFlexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shiftsAbility to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standardsExcellent organization skillsAbility to follow instructionsPreferredHigh School DiplomaWork experience as a Room Attendant or MaidExperience with hotel cleaning standards and productsAperture Hotels is an established hotel management company with a management portfolio of well-known brands including Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Hotel Indigo, Courtyard by Marriott, Hampton Inn and Suites, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Home2, as well as an Independent.We offer a dynamic work environment with avenues for professional and personal growth.
