Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and/or vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to docks, gates, trailer yards, and other restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related events and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the building perimeter, parking areas, loading zones, and trailer storage areas, with working conditions that may vary by site. Support security-related screening and access procedures for deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor activity while following post orders and reporting unusual activity or policy violations. Minimum Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
