Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30 or 07:30 - 16:00 with three call shifts in a two-week period.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Care unit, you will provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients. You will be responsible for a variety of advanced clinical procedures and interventions, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient condition and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in various cardiac interventions and procedures.
• Provide educational support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with charge experience preferred.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Prior experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Must possess a valid state RN license (compact license acceptable).
