Position Summary

The Expeditor (Expo) serves as the communication link between the kitchen and front-of-house team, ensuring every order is accurate, complete, and delivered promptly. This role is responsible for coordinating food orders, maintaining quality standards, and supporting efficient kitchen operations to provide an exceptional dining experience.

• Coordinate communication between the kitchen and service staff.
• Inspect completed dishes for accuracy, presentation, and quality before they leave the kitchen.
• Verify orders are complete and prepared according to guest specifications.
• Organize and prioritize ticket flow during busy service periods.
• Ensure food is served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner.
• Communicate special requests, allergies, and modifications to the kitchen.
• Assist in resolving order discrepancies quickly and professionally.
• Keep the expo station clean, organized, and stocked throughout each shift.
• Support teamwork between front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies.

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.

• Knowledge of restaurant POS systems.
• Understanding of food presentation and quality standards.
• Experience in high-volume or full-service restaurants.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
