The Senior Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Engineer will play a critical role in maximising machine availability and maintaining extreme precision across a fleet of CNC mills lathes and high tolerance grinding machines. You will act as the technical authority for complex faults reliability improvements and calibration standards in a demanding precision environment. As the Senior Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Engineer (CNC Lathes and High Tolerance Grinding) your responsibilities will include Delivering advanced preventive predictive and corrective maintenance on CNC mills lathes and high tolerance grinding machines Leading mechanical fault diagnosis including alignment vibration spindle issues backlash and thermal growth Troubleshooting electrical and controls faults across servo drives motors encoders wiring and power systems Programming and fault finding PLC systems including ladder logic HMIs backups and recovery Driving root cause analysis and implementing long term reliability improvements to reduce downtime As the Senior Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Engineer (CNC Lathes and High Tolerance Grinding) you will bring Extensive experience maintaining CNC machines and high tolerance grinding equipment in a precision environment Strong mechanical expertise across spindles bearings hydraulics pneumatics and precision metrology Proven electrical and controls capability including servo systems drives and industrial diagnostics Hands on PLC troubleshooting and modification experience on Fanuc Siemens or Allen Bradley platforms The ability to work autonomously mentor others and communicate clearly with production and engineering teams This Senior Mechanical and Electrical Machine Maintenance Enginee role offers a competitive salary alongside the opportunity to work within a close knit team that values expertise collaboration and long term careers.
