Receptionist (Part Time)

Kelly is hiring a dependable, friendly Part-Time Receptionist for a contract opportunity, for our client in West Chicago, IL, near Warrenville. This position is 100% onsite.

The assignment is expected to last approximately 36 months.

Schedule MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.1:00 p.m.

About the role You'll support reception, sales, customer service, and accounting in a casual, team-oriented office environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct callers to the appropriate department.
• Manage the main company inbox, transcribe voicemails, and forward messages.
• Respond to customer questions about order status and shipment tracking by phone and email.
• Email sales order acknowledgments and invoices.
• Direct out-of-warranty service inquiries to authorized providers based on location.
• Follow up on missing order information, credit card payments, signed quotes, drawings, and other documentation.
• Handle filing, recordkeeping, and general administrative tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the sales, service, and accounting teams.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional phone and email communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer applications.
• Ability to navigate order management systems and carrier tracking websites.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy office.
• Calm, positive approach when handling multiple calls or challenging customer situations.
• Two or more years of office, administrative, or sales support experience preferred.
