Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician directives. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for those assigned patients.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals to progress patients towards discharge within established length of stay.
• Document medical records clearly, concisely, and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations and clinic policies.
• Provide educational support to patients, families, students, and staff.
• Participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing evaluations.
• Create and maintain an individualized professional development plan.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and maintain professional licensure in good standing.
• Understand and participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• 1+ years of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state licensure.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a 5x8.0 schedule.
