Dental Assistant

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a Dental Assistant to support general dentistry procedures and help deliver efficient, comfortable patient care. Reporting to the office manager, this role will assist with clinical preparation, infection control, patient education, appointment coordination, and documentation using Open Dental. Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry procedures.
Prepare patients and treatment areas for dental appointments.
Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards.
Prepare equipment and patients for radiographs.
Coordinate appointments and update related information in Open Dental.
Educate patients on treatment and oral-care instructions.
Support effective patient communication throughout the visit. Required Qualifications
Dental assisting certificate or diploma.
Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification. Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of dental assisting experience.
Experience with four-handed dentistry.
Knowledge of dental radiography and instrument sterilization.
Strong patient communication skills.
Experience with electronic health records. Hours: Monday-Wednesday 8am - 5pm and Thursdays 7am- 1:30pm
