Associate Attorney - General Liability Defense - San Diego, CA

A well-respected national litigation firm is seeking a General Liability Associate Attorney to join its San Diego office . This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and is ideal for a motivated litigator looking for a long-term opportunity with meaningful growth, responsibility, and support. Responsibilities: Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents. Appear at court hearings, depositions, and mediations. Independently manage a litigation caseload as part of a collaborative team. Handle matters from inception through resolution. Communicate directly with clients and provide regular status updates. Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices to support case strategy. Qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Active California Bar membership in good standing. 2+ years of defense litigation experience . Experience with general liability matters , including catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or related areas. Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required. Experience with court appearances and depositions; trial experience a plus. Second-chair trial experience preferred but not required.
