About the role Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408 We're looking for a Construction Manager-Level 2 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You will coordinate and manage construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. You will be responsible to assess productivity, schedule compliance, work quality, and safety performance on the project. You will manage walk downs of planned work, validate acceptance of completed work to design requirements, approve contractor payment requests, verify constructability, ensure proper resource allocations, assess field status, and resolve issues as needed. You will be responsible for scope control, budget oversight, performance reporting, schedules, and work in progress to ensure Construction Supervisors are effectively implementing their assignments and obtaining the desired results. You will be providing leadership and coaching to Construction Supervisors and supplemental workforce, communicating departmental, station, and division goals. Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408. 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) Key Responsibilities Lead commissioning projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to implement commissioning plans. Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance. Manage contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines. Resolve operational issues that arise during the commissioning phase. Other: Strong understanding of engineering principles related to power plant commissioning. Acts as a critical bridge between field operations and customer leadership, ensuring construction crews and project stakeholders remain aligned. Addresses logistical challenges, resolves conflicts, and ensures construction activities stay on track. Survey and observe contractor Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) practices; provide coaching, direction and corrective action as needed Qualifications Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Power Generation, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 6 or more years of experience in power plant commissioning, working with EPC Contractors, engineering firms, and equipment suppliers.
