Training Specialist

Engagement Type Contract Responsibilities Create and edit training guides from content provided by subject matter experts. Write, edit, and disseminate communications to end users and stakeholders. Assist in developing training and training material for systems of record. Facilitate webinars by monitoring chat, sharing document links, and troubleshooting access issues. Assist adult learners in physical classroom trainings. Assist with equipment set up and testing activities for classroom trainings. Assist with administrative tasks associated with training registration. Monitor group mailboxes and respond to stakeholder questions. Work with subject matter experts and engage in independent research to develop subject matter knowledge relevant to assigned projects and curricula. Requirements Excellent attention to detail. Excellent grammar and writing skills, including the ability to convey written and technical information in a clear, concise manner. Professional demeanor. Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite and Jira. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to learn new information quickly and independently. Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing requirements, and work under pressure. Required/Desired Skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook 365, SharePoint, PPT, Word, Excel, and Teams) – 3.0 years required. Excellent grammar and writing skills, including the ability to convey written and technical information in a clear, concise manner. Experience creating and editing training guides from content provided by subject matter experts. Experience facilitating webinars by monitoring chat, sharing document links, and troubleshooting access issues. Experience with Atlassian Jira, Confluence, and Service Management tools. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to identify and resolve problems using research techniques. Bachelor’s degree or higher. Teaching or training experience. Video editing using Adobe products (desired). WCAG/ADA compliance (desired). Web design and publishing (desired). Document/web formatting (desired).
