Requisition #: 664368 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Category: Physician Assistant Schedule: Day Shift Employment Type: Full Time What Awaits You Career growth and development Tuition Assistance Diverse and collaborative working environment Affordable and comprehensive benefits package General Summary The Occupational Therapist Assistant specializing in Acute Care Works under the direct supervision of the Team Coordinator and/or Clinical Specialist, and leadership of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess the occupational limitations and medical condition of patients Prescribes and implements a treatment program designed to return patients to their maximum level of function Works collaboratively with all members of the multidisciplinary health care team to maximize patient and team outcomes Promotes improvement in service, department and hospital systems to benefit patient care Incorporates and operationalizes the goals and objectives of the organization Minimum Qualifications Completion of an Associates Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience preferred Knowledge of Acute Care required Successful completion of clinical internships as required by the academic program Current State licensure as an Occupational Therapist required AHA Healthcare Provider CPR required Shift Full-time - Monday to Friday, with some weekends and holidays Salary Range Minimum $26.58/hour – Maximum $43.89/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
