Portofino Pizza & Pasta Restaurant in Parker is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our busy Italian kitchen. Located at 10920 South Parker Road, Parker, CO, our team values quality food preparation and a collaborative work environment. The Line Cook will report directly to the Head Chef and is expected to work regular weekend shifts. We offer a flexible schedule and prioritize quick hiring and training for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Perform prep work including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Manage inventory and monitor stock levels
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to safety regulations
- Operate standard kitchen equipment and tools
- Ensure food quality through consistent quality control checks
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to maintain efficient workflow
- Comply with safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of line cooking experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Proficient knife skills
- Commitment to cleanliness and sanitation
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
