About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Data Center Construction to lead and oversee the operational activities related to the design, construction, and delivery of data center infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiencies, ensuring that construction strategies align with the company's mission and goals, and collaborating with the finance department to prepare and evaluate project budgets. This role also involves cultivating a culture of safety and ethical compliance, providing leadership to project teams, and maintaining strategic relationships with various industry stakeholders. The Vice President will be expected to lead business development efforts, represent the company at industry events, and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Applicants for the Vice President of Data Center Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a degree in construction management or a related discipline. A minimum of 15 years of construction experience, particularly in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial construction, is required, along with at least 10 years of management experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and securing new construction contracts. Technical skills should include proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use various customer systems. Strong soft skills such as communication, negotiation, and problem-solving, as well as the ability to lead and motivate staff, are essential for this role.
