Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population including post-operative and oncology patients.
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios with a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving.
• Administer medications and manage CPAP and BiPAP equipment in collaboration with respiratory therapists.
• Interpret telemetry strips and ensure accurate patient monitoring.
• Comply with all facility policies including the proper use of PPE and adherence to infection control standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop and evaluate patient care plans.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ONC/ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in a MedSurg setting, with strong knowledge of patient safety and infection control.
• Experience with EPIC charting systems preferred.
• Ability to interpret and respond to telemetry monitoring equipment independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
