- This position is responsible for ensuring that all tableware, pots and pans, utensils, other kitchen equipment, and surfaces are clean and sanitary
- Work is routine with little or no deviation from accepted practices
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Assists with food tray preparation during meal service hours
- Cleans and washes dishes by hand or machine, including trays, silverware, and pots and pans for morning, lunch, and dinner meals
- Ensures the sanitation of the kitchen work area by cleaning and washing machines, mopping the floor, taking garbage to the dumpster
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dish room and pot sink work areas
- This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to upholding high safety and service standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
