Overview
Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting CDL Drivers for multiple clients throughout the Wilmington, NC area (28403 and surrounding areas) . We work with a variety of local companies and have opportunities for dependable, safety-focused drivers with different levels of experience.
If you’re an experienced CDL Driver looking for your next opportunity, we want to hear from you! Our clients are seeking reliable professionals who take pride in safe driving, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all traffic laws and DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for operation.
- Transport materials, products, or equipment to designated locations safely and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, maintenance, and hours of service.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding routes, schedules, and deliveries.
- Follow company and client policies and procedures related to safety and operations.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed.
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent service while representing our clients.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred; 2+ years of experience is a plus .
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading cargo when required.
- Must be committed to maintaining a safe and professional work environment.
