CHIEF OF STAFF DEVELOPMENT TRAINING & CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT

Chief Of Staff Development Training & Continuous Quality ImprovementThe Chief of Staff Development Training and Quality Improvement is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of staff development and training for the Rhode Island Department of Administration. Situated within the Office of Learning and Development under the Talent Management Unit, this position supports a culture of organizational learning, operational excellence, and data-informed performance improvement across all levels of the department. A central focus of this role is serving as the department's primary trainer and change management communicator for Workday, the state's HRIS and enterprise resource planning system. This position is responsible for developing and delivering end-user training, translating system updates and business process changes into clear, accessible learning experiences, and ensuring all staff are equipped to navigate Workday effectively and confidently.Preferred Experience: Demonstrated experience in a staff development, organizational training, or continuous quality improvement capacity with particular emphasis on enterprise system training (Workday or comparable HRIS/ERP platforms strongly preferred), end-user communication, and business process change management.
