FOOD SERVICE WORKER - PFANS
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI
SCHEDULE: Friday - Monday, 10:00AM-4:30PM
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking dependable and adaptable food service workers to support our PFANS team in Ann Arbor. Responsibilities include warewashing, tray assembly, and tray delivery, with assignments rotating as needed-no preference or selection for specific roles. This is a hands-on position suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and are committed to ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and food service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform warewashing duties including washing, sanitizing, and organizing kitchenware and trays
Assemble meal trays accurately and efficiently according to dietary and portion instructions
Deliver meal trays to patient or cafeteria areas, ensuring timely and friendly service
Rotate between duties as assigned based on daily needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization in service and kitchen areas
Safely follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Assist team members and supervisors as needed to ensure smooth operation

REQUIREMENTS:

Flexibility to perform any of the assigned food service duties
Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment for extended periods
Must be reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts
Good communication skills and a positive, cooperative attitude
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality food service
Physical stamina to handle regular walking, lifting, and repetitive tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Fast-paced hospital or institutional kitchen setting
Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout shift
Collaborative and supportive team atmosphere
