Position: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician
Start Date: As soon as possible
Available Shifts: 24-hour coverage
Compensation: $3,104.00 - $3,360.00 per shift
OverviewOur organization is in search of a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician to provide locum tenens support to address an immediate requirement. This role involves delivering inpatient hospital-based cardiothoracic surgical services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform adult cardiothoracic surgeries, including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
- Valve repair and replacement
- Emergency cardiac procedures
- Thoracic surgeries
- Lung resections
- Management of thoracic trauma
- Inpatient consultations
- Emergency department consultations
- Postoperative patient care
- Active and unrestricted state medical license is mandatory
- Credentialing process may take between 60 to 90 days
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Meditech, Patient Keeper, and eClinicalWorks (eCW) is preferred
