An industrial agricultural equipment manufacturing client of ours is seeking an Engineering Manager to join their team. This role is focused on leadership, project management, and process improvement rather than hands-on design work. You will oversee a team of three drafters while ensuring projects move efficiently from Sales through Engineering and into Production. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, collaborating across departments, and building relationships with customers. Location: New Prague, MN Salary: 115-125k + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three engineering drafters.
• Manage engineering projects and priorities from concept through production.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and Production to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Improve engineering processes, workflows, and project management systems.
• Serve as a customer-facing engineering resource, supporting project discussions and ensuring customer expectations are met.
• Monitor project timelines, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-focused engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, or a related industry.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with CAD and engineering documentation is preferred, but this is not a primary design role.
