Geoscience Drafter

Geoscience Drafter – Part‑Time Location: Diamond Bar, CA Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Overview: Under direct supervision from a Senior Geologist, Engineer, or Project Manager, the selected candidate will provide support to the geotechnical group by drawing layouts, details, diagrams, and sketches, and performing supporting software computational work for report and field work preparation/analyses. Your Role Use AutoCAD software to develop various drawings (e.g., plates, figures, illustrations, cross‑sections, plans, details) Develop cross‑sections and diagram layouts computing various dimensions, angles, and other data as necessary Analyze large‑scale construction plans, topographic datasets, hand‑drawn field maps, and historical references Complete finished drawings and graphics for submittals to clients Check drawings for completeness and accuracy Assist with development and maintenance of AutoCAD/drafting standards and templates Other duties as assigned Qualifications An Associate's degree or equivalent A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience or training in geotechnical or related fields Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D and similar software Benefits Comprehensive and market‑competitive benefits.
