Periodontist

Overview Part-time periodontist position in Killeen, TX (2 days per month). This role is offered by Benevis, a provider focused on expanding access to affordable dental care for underserved communities. The position allows practice flexibility, with travel into El Paso welcomed and supported. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat periodontal and peri-implant disease. Provide full-scope periodontal and implant surgery, including pocket reduction and osseous surgery, soft-tissue grafting and flap procedures, crown lengthening, implant placement, and grafting and sinus augmentation when indicated. Manage a mix of surgical cases, consults, and follow-ups based on patient need. Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, and assistants to support efficient care delivery and case acceptance. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical and regulatory standards. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree. Completion of a CODA-accredited Periodontics residency. Active Texas dental license. Board Certified or Board Eligible (preferred). Experience providing periodontal and implant surgery in a clinical practice setting. Comfortable working within flexible scheduling models, including occasional same-day surgical care.
