Location: Gastonia, NC (Gaston County Jail) - Convenient commute from Charlotte, Belmont, and surrounding areas. As the Night Shift Nurse Manager, you will lead a dedicated night team while remaining hands-on in patient care. Key Responsibilities: Lead & Mentor: Act as the go-to clinical resource, supporting and guiding your night shift nursing team to ensure smooth, efficient operations. Provide Autonomy-Driven Care: Conduct health assessments, triage, manage medications, and respond to urgent medical needs. Collaborate Safely: Work hand-in-hand with a supportive correctional officer team. Qualifications: Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state). Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience. Experience in corrections, Emergency Departments, urgent care, or high-acuity settings is a major plus, but we will train the right leader! Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.
