We believe that a variety of backgrounds makes our team stronger and more innovative.Are You a Match?Required Qualifications:One year of prior supervisory and/or demonstrated leadership experience.Customer service experience.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be at least 21 years of age.Must have a valid Class B drivers license.Must have HAZMAT endorsement.Must have at least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.Ability to routinely lift 25 – 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs.Willingness to work outdoors and inclement weather.Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.Adherence to and enforce all safety regulations and policies.Preferred Qualifications:Touch freight delivery experience.SAP or similar software system experience.Intermediate skills operating a computer in Google Platform environment is recommended.Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.Excellent oral and written communication skills; well organized; creative problem solving; strong service orientation; strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence, work independently and as part of a team.Basic product knowledge of welding, safety, gases and hardgood supplies is recommended.Be able to excel in a deadline oriented environment and demonstrate a high level of competence in organizing and prioritizing multiple work assignments.Forklift experience.BenefitsWe care about and support our Airgas Families.
