Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Mid-Atlantic Legal Recruiting, LLC Owner, Mid-Atlantic Legal Recruiting, LLC We are seeking a dynamic, experienced paralegal to join a boutique family law firm in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in family law, thrives in a small firm setting, and brings strong trial preparation skills. This is a full-time, in-office position for someone dependable, organized, and capable of supporting both legal and general administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: Draft and file pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and motions in family law matters Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and case chronologies Coordinate and manage trial calendars, deadlines, and court dates Maintain and proactively manage attorney calendars and ensure all deadlines, court appearances, and tasks are scheduled and tracked Assist attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom support Conduct client communication and intake processes Organize and maintain case files and document management systems Handle general office administrative tasks (phones, scheduling, billing assistance, etc.) Support attorneys in a collaborative and fast-paced environment Qualifications: 5–10 years of paralegal experience in family law Strong trial preparation and litigation support skills Familiarity with local court procedures in Northern Virginia Comfortable working in a smaller firm setting (2–10 employees) High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Experience with legal software (familiarity with Rocket Matter) Strong written and verbal communication skills Full-time, on-site in Fairfax, VA Opportunity to take ownership of key aspects of casework and office operations Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holiday schedule Health benefits available Seniority level Seniority level Associate Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Legal Industries Law Practice Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Mid-Atlantic Legal Recruiting, LLC by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Paid maternity leave Paid paternity leave Disability insurance Get notified when a new job is posted.
