Licensed Veterinary Technician
Harmony Animal Hospital
*Licensed Veterinary Technician in a People-First, Fear Free Practice in Alexandria, VA. *
Are you looking for a role in a practice where people come first? Would you like to work with 30 to 60-minute appointments, breaks, and a supportive culture? Do you enjoy working with humans as well as pets? * If so, read on, we may have the job for YOU! If you're an experienced LVT who loves teaching, thrives in a healthy culture, and wants to work somewhere that treats people like people, not machines, then we are your team! Harmony Animal Hospital is a Fear Free Certified practice built on one simple purpose: *We exist to add more love to the world by nurturing pets and their families.* *Who We Are:* We opened in 2019 with one doctor and four support staff. Since then, we've grown into a thriving team of 4 doctors, a bodyworks/massage therapist, and a support team of 20+ people. We survived the pandemic, doubled down on culture, and became Northern Virginia's first Fear Free Certified hospital. We operate more like a family doctor for pets, taking 30-60 minutes per appointment, so clients never feel rushed, and our team doesn't feel overwhelmed. Our values guide everything: compassion, direct and honest communication, growth, community impact, integrity, perseverance, and fun. If these resonate with you, you'll fit right in. Drama and ego do not survive here. Growth, kindness, accountability, and laughter do. Emotional Intelligence is a must. *What You can Expect from Us* First, you can expect to work with professional and friendly colleagues who want to help you grow. Growth and development is at the core of what we are doing. You can also expect a friendly, welcoming, and open culture from top to bottom. Ego isn’t a welcome guest here. We want humble teammates (that doesn’t mean meek). Our team is fun and we like to have a good laugh! In addition, we learn, grow, and move forward as a team. We want to work with people who push us to get better and people who call us out with compassion and kindness when we might be wrong (and gently steer us back in the right direction). You can expect support and learning opportunities so you can build your skills. This comes in many forms: from one-on-one coaching, leadership support, and a wide variety of continuing knowledge opportunities both online and in person. *Who You Are* We're looking for a seasoned Licensed Veterinary Technician with: * 2+ years of technical experience* Strong emotional intelligence, organization, and people skills
