Material HandlerThe Material Handler plays a key role in supporting production operations by safely unloading, receiving, measuring, and inspecting incoming materials, organizing and staging inventory, and ensuring accurate movement of materials and parts between production areas according to established schedules and priorities.ResponsibilitiesUnload, receive, measure, and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality and specification requirements.Stage and organize all types of incoming materials in designated areas to support efficient production workflows.Store materials in a manner that prevents damage, loss, and contamination while maintaining clear labeling and accessibility.Collaborate with appropriate departments to resolve issues or discrepancies related to incoming materials.Compile and maintain material and parts inventory records, including status information, to support timely movement of items between production areas.Expedite the flow of materials and parts according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities.Assist with organizing and maintaining products and inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and proper rotation.Essential SkillsExperience with material handling, including unloading, moving, and storing materials safely and efficiently.Proficiency in packing, picking, and packaging materials and products to meet production and order specifications.Hands-on experience with inventory processes, including organizing stock, performing cycle counts, and supporting physical inventory audits.Familiarity with production environments and the movement of materials and parts between production areas.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers the chance to be an integral part of a well-structured production environment where accuracy, safety, and teamwork are highly valued. The environment follows established safety guidelines and protocols, and you are expected to wear appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse and production setting, as well as any required safety gear in accordance with company policies.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fulton, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
