Responsibilities

Norton Medical Group is seeking physicians who have an interest in urgent care medicine to staff its 20 Immediate Care Centers in Greater Louisville, including Southern Indiana. For more than 30 years, Norton Immediate Care Centers have provided urgent care to patients in Louisville, Southern Indiana and surrounding counties. The physician is responsible for recording a detailed medical history of each patient in the electronic medical record, including, but not limited to, chief complaint, present condition, individual history, and family history. Performing appropriate physical examination of each patient. Analyzing reports and/or findings of tests and personal examinations in order to assess the medical condition of the patient, including diagnosing the patient's injury or illness and formulating a prognosis.


Qualifications

• Medical degree/diploma
• Residency/fellowship certification
• Kentucky medical license or license eligible
