Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (0700–2000) | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week | Call required

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team; may float between campuses and serve as a sitter in rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN licensure or Compact RN licensure
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to function consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Willingness to take call and float between campuses as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
• Familiarity with evidence-based clinical workflows and performance improvement processes
