ALTERATIONS ASSOCIATE

As an Alterations Associate , your unique skills contribute to our reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. In addition to general alterations, you will alter diverse styles of women’s garments varying from formal dresses with beading to tailored clothing. What You’ll Do Own the customer experience – greet people sincerely, be friendly and thank every customer Measure, fit, mark, and pin garments according to customer specifications Disassemble, sew and/or reassemble garments according to measurements taken during fitting – use iron and steamer to prepare garments for customers Repair damaged or defective merchandise Garment work may range from basic to moderately difficult sewing/alteration procedures Maintain a clean department and work area What You Can Expect We’re committed to helping you thrive at work and at home. The expected base wage for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr with overtime eligibility. Successful candidates’ wages will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position.
