About the Role:
STEM Child Care in Castle Rock, CO is looking for a passionate and nurturing Lead Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our growing team! In this role, you'll help shape the earliest and most critical years of a child's development in a supportive, innovative environment. Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, STEM-inspired curriculum for infants and toddlers
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports developmental milestones
• Observe and document each child's growth, behavior, and developmental progress
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and development
• Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations and health and safety standards
• Collaborate with fellow educators and leadership to continuously improve classroom practices

Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field preferred
• Minimum ECE credits required per Colorado childcare licensing standards
• Prior experience in an infant/toddler classroom setting strongly preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain
• Strong understanding of infant and toddler developmental stages and best practices
• Warm, patient, and dependable with a genuine passion for early childhood education
• Ability to pass a required background check per Colorado licensing requirements
